We are a small family farm located in beautiful, rural Pinckney, Michigan. Beginning in the fall of 2009 we opened our doors to the surrounding community with the desire to create a partnership for the environmentally sustainable production of healthful locally grown food.
Our farm has rapidly become more than a source of fresh vegetables. It is a vibrant and dynamic gathering place for a growing community of friends interested in supporting local agriculture. Many of our member families enjoy visiting the farm to teach their children about how food is grown, to visit our animals and perhaps to roll up their sleeves and get directly involved.
Our members provide support for our farm family by purchasing shares according to the size of their food needs. In return, we work throughout the year to produce the best possible fresh food for your table. We offer shares sized for singles, couples or families of four. We also offer discounts for those who would like to volunteer at least 25 hours per year helping with farming tasks.
We grow over 100 varieties of vegetables and herbs. Also included in our membership shares are eggs from our heritage-breed pastured chickens, honey from our beehives and maple syrup from the forest. All items are produced on our farm by our family and community members according to the National Organic Program standards without the use of antibiotics or synthetic pesticides.
Each week throughout the year, our members visit the farm to receive their share of produce to take home and enjoy with their families. We also hold regular social gatherings such as picnics, parties and farm events so that everyone has a opportunity to get to know us and the rest of the community.
From our family to yours we bid you welcome.
